HOA - Get Involved

Some of us live in subdivisions or PUD’s (planned unit developments) that have an HOA or some other governing board of residents. These august bodies are created for the benefit of the residential area. It may seem not, depending on what regulations have been instituted, but the purpose is to maintain the property value. As such, I encourage you as an area resident to become involved in the HOA or condo/townhome association or whatever name is assigned to the body. You will gain real estate knowledge and be a proactive participant in your property’s significance.
