A New Year can mean fresh beginnings. Let’s stay fresh with how we envision our property and maintain the appreciation of our investment. Two areas of concern are usually uppermost in homeowners’ minds: home repair & maintenance and safety.

Home repair & maintenance is essential to keeping your property’s significance and its best value. Addressing concerns such as plumbing, the roof, painting-both exterior & interior, and how the yard is kept are factors relating to the property’s comfort, attractiveness and desirability of your home. And should you decide to sell your home, having to not expend additional monies to get the property in selling condition is greatly to your advantage.

Safety can include smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers. For some, it also means security alarms that warn against intruders and those that are able to automatically summon either police or emergency medical personnel within a particular time.

Please make sure that you take the time to address these issues so that your fresh start remains safe and worry free. You will appreciate the investment of time and minimal money to maintain your premises as opposed to a large repair bill later. A stitch in time saves nine as the saying goes.
